Independent animation studio Millimages has secured a significant role as the worldwide distributor (excluding Italy, Germany, LATAM, Austria, Israel, Portugal, and Spain) for Movimenti Production’s latest animation series, “Spooky Wolf” (26 x 13’). The announcement comes alongside the completion of production for the anticipated series, which is set to feature prominently in Millimages’ showcase at the upcoming MIPTV event, alongside their newly developed project, “Camp Farmcreek” (52 x 11’).

Directed by Giorgio Scorza, “Spooky Wolf” introduces audiences to a unique blend of 2D characters set against live-action backgrounds. Lucille Janvier, content sales executive at Millimages, expressed enthusiasm for the series, citing its original premise, engaging characters, and distinctive design. “Spooky Wolf” promises to captivate viewers with its imaginative storytelling, filled with humor and unexpected twists, appealing to both young boys and girls alike.

The inaugural season of “Spooky Wolf” delves into a whimsical narrative exploring the adventures of a teenage detective, reimagining the Big Bad Wolf in a new light. Set in the fantastical city of Fantaville, the series follows Spooky Wolf and his quirky companions as they unravel mysteries ranging from disappearing seas to stolen mouths, all amidst a backdrop where the impossible becomes possible.

In addition to “Spooky Wolf,” Millimages will also unveil the trailer for their upcoming project, “Camp Farmcreek,” during MIPTV. Targeted at children aged six to nine, the 2D animated comedy promises a summer of laughter and adventure as protagonists Leo, Violet, and Sam find themselves reluctantly enrolled in a summer camp run by the eccentric farmer, Hector. Amidst activities like yodeling classes and motorized wheelbarrow races, the trio navigates through unexpected challenges, promising an unforgettable summer experience.

With a lineup boasting both imaginative storytelling and vibrant characters, Millimages aims to captivate audiences and industry professionals alike at MIPTV, solidifying its position as a leading force in the world of animation distribution and production.
