Adventurers, grab your whips! Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is set to receive Update 3 next week, and Bethesda has already dropped some exciting details.

According to Bethesda’s latest announcement, the update will bring much-needed fixes, alongside Nvidia DLSS 4 support with Multi Frame Generation and DLSS Ray Reconstruction—making Indy’s latest adventure even more visually stunning.

But for many players, the real treasure lies in the bug fixes that have plagued the game since launch. Let’s break down what’s coming in Update 3 and why this patch is a big deal.

What’s Coming in Update 3?

Gaming 1 Article Page
  • Key Features in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle Update 3:
  • Bug Fixes – Addresses game-breaking issues, including climbing and squeezing mechanics.
  • Nvidia DLSS 4 Support – Enhances performance with Multi Frame Generation & DLSS Ray Reconstruction.
  • General Improvements – Polishes gameplay for a smoother experience.

While full patch notes are yet to be revealed, players are hoping this update finally resolves critical issues that have prevented them from 100%-ing the game.

Bethesda had previously promised that February’s update would introduce new graphical options and bug fixes, particularly for climbing vines and squeezing through walls in Sukhothai—but it remains to be seen if these specific fixes have made it into Update 3.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle: A Huge Success Despite Bugs

  • Launched in December 2024, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle has already attracted 4 million players on PC and Xbox Series X|S. As a Microsoft-owned game, it was available day-one on Game Pass, fueling its rapid growth.
  • The game has garnered critical acclaim and secured multiple awards, including three wins at the D.I.C.E. Awards.

And for PlayStation fans—good news! A PS5 version is scheduled to release this spring.

Harrison Ford Reacts to Troy Baker’s Indy Performance—”You Don’t Need AI to Steal My Soul”

One of the biggest talking points around Indiana Jones and the Great Circle was who would play Indy—and the legendary Harrison Ford himself has spoken out.

  • In a recent interview with The Wall Street Journal, Ford praised Troy Baker’s performance, saying:

“You don’t need artificial intelligence to steal my soul. You can already do it for nickels and dimes with good ideas and talent. He did a brilliant job, and it didn’t take AI to do it.”

This comment comes at a time when AI voice acting is a hot debate in the gaming industry, and Ford’s statement reinforces the importance of human talent in bringing beloved characters to life.

Final Thoughts: Will Update 3 Fix Indy’s Biggest Problems?

With Indiana Jones and the Great Circle already a major success, Update 3 aims to iron out the remaining rough edges and boost graphical performance with DLSS 4 support.

  • What to watch for in Update 3:
  • Will climbing & movement glitches finally be fixed?
  • How much of a performance boost will DLSS 4 provide?
  • Will more quality-of-life improvements be included?

One thing’s for sure—fans will be watching closely when the full patch notes drop next week!
