Global visual effects and animation powerhouse DNEG has unveiled its latest venture into immersive experiences with the launch of DNEG IXP. The newly minted division, spearheaded by former global CEO of The Mill, Josh Mandel, marks a significant move for DNEG into the realm of super-premium content creation across various platforms.

DNEG IXP’s mission is clear: to cater to businesses, brands, and game publishers seeking to revolutionize creative experiences. This encompasses a wide array of domains including gaming, virtual concerts, theme park ride experiences, retail installations, product launches, and location-based attractions.

Mandel brings to the table over two decades of expertise in the media and entertainment industry, with notable stints at The Mill, R/GA, 72andSunny, and Nike. His leadership is expected to drive DNEG IXP’s immediate focus on gaming, virtual concerts, and theme park ride experiences, among other projects in the pipeline.
