“Lights, Camera, Inclusion! Brainstorm Productions’ Animation Event Celebrates Neurodiverse Talent”
Get ready for a groundbreaking evening filled with creativity, inspiration, and heartwarming stories! Brainstorm Productions proudly presents its 1st Annual Celebration of Animated Film & Art, set to take place on April 9 at the AMC Rolling Hills 20 theaters in Torrance, California. This unique event is dedicated to honoring Autism Acceptance Month and highlighting the incredible talent of neurodiverse artists.

A Night to Celebrate Neurodiverse Talent
The event will shine a spotlight on nine animated short films, each written and directed by talented neurodiverse graduates of Brainstorm Productions’ renowned three-year animation academy. These visionary artists have honed their craft, and now, their work is ready to be showcased on the big screen.
This celebration is more than just a film screening; it’s a movement to support and empower artists on the autism spectrum. The event also serves as a fundraiser to sustain Brainstorm Productions’ vital programs, which help prepare neurodiverse individuals for careers in the arts and entertainment industry, as well as launching their own creative micro-enterprises.
A Community Coming Together
This one-of-a-kind event is a collaborative effort that brings together local organizations dedicated to serving the autistic community. Partnering organizations include Mychal’s Learning Place, ICAN California Abilities Network, and Harbor Regional Center. Additionally, generous sponsors such as Malaga Bank, The South Bay Film Society, AMC Rolling Hills 20, and Raising Cane’s have stepped up to make this event possible.
A Star-Studded Evening of Film & Fun
The celebration kicks off at 5:30 p.m. with an exciting red carpet arrival, where guests can meet and greet the artists and directors behind the films. Tickets are priced at $25 and include a delightful selection of sandwiches, chips, and beverages, ensuring that attendees are well-fed before the screening begins at 7:00 p.m.
Following the film showcase at approximately 7:40 p.m., guests will be treated to dessert and refreshments while mingling with the talented artists and the dedicated Brainstorm Productions team.
