In a strategic move aimed at fortifying its position in the animation and visual effects (VFX) industry, Axis Studios has welcomed Rose Hancock as the new executive producer within its VFX division. Tasked with bolstering existing client relationships and spearheading the studio’s expansion efforts, Hancock brings to the table a wealth of experience spanning 18 years in the field.

Hancock’s role will involve working closely with key figures within the studio, including director of VFX Nick Drew, VFX managing director Nerys Davies, and creative supervisor Simon Carr. Together, they aim to cultivate strong creative partnerships with clients on a global scale, enhancing Axis Studios’ presence in the industry.

Drawing from her extensive background, which includes notable stints at prominent companies such as DNEG, NVIZ, The Third Floor, and Rhythm and Hues Studios in Mumbai, India, Hancock boasts an impressive portfolio. Her credits encompass a range of high-profile projects such as “King Arthur and the Knights of the Roundtable,” “The Midnight Sky,” and the eagerly anticipated action-thriller “The Crow.”

Expressing her enthusiasm for the new role, Hancock highlighted her passion for bringing creative visions to life within the collaborative realm of VFX. She underscored the boundless opportunities for innovation and growth within Axis Studios, emphasizing the team’s alignment and continuous evolution.
