Robot Chicken Turns 20! New Special Puts the Nerd in Reality TV—Here’s When to Watch

The Emmy-winning Adult Swim series is marking its 20th anniversary with a brand-new special that takes aim at reality TV—and it’s going to be as ridiculous as you’d expect.
What’s the New Special About?
Titled “The Robot Chicken Self-Discovery Special,” the episode follows the Robot Chicken Nerd as he embarks on a journey of self-discovery… by hopping onto reality TV shows.
Expect parodies of Discovery, Food Network, and TLC hits—so don’t be surprised if you see him trying to find love on 90 Day Fiancé or getting into deep trouble during Shark Week!
The special premieres this summer on Adult Swim.

Creators Seth Green and Matthew Senreich reflected on the milestone:
“20 years ago, we set out to make the kind of funny and unexpected show that we’d want to watch. And somehow, we’re still here, making sketch comedy with toys and making each other laugh.”
They also promised the special will “soar really high… and then maybe poop on your head.” (Which, according to them, is good luck. 🤷)
Adult Swim President Michael Ouweleen added:

To mark the occasion, Adult Swim is airing Robot Chicken five nights a week throughout February:
