Zootopia 2 — the sequel to Disney’s hit animated film — won the Best Animated Film award at the 2026 EE BAFTA Film Awards held in London. The film, known internationally as Zootopia 2, beat out other nominees including Elio and Little Amélie to secure the top honor in animation.
The 79th BAFTA ceremony saw Zootopia 2 recognized for its compelling storytelling, vibrant world-building, and box-office success. The award highlights the continued global influence of Disney’s animation slate and marks another major accolade for the film following its widespread acclaim.
