“Sony’s The Last of Us DualSense Controller Is Here—And It’s a Must-Have for Fans!”

Sony has officially revealed a limited edition DualSense wireless controller inspired by The Last of Us franchise. Set to launch on April 10, 2025, this collector’s item will be priced at $84.99. While an exact release date for India has yet to be confirmed, gaming analyst Rishi Alwani suggests that, much like previous limited-edition controllers (Astro Bot, Fortnite), this one is expected to hit Indian stores as well. The estimated Indian retail price? Around ₹7,490—in line with Sony’s previous special edition controllers.

A Controller That Pays Homage to The Last of Us

This stunning controller isn’t just about aesthetics—it’s a tribute to the beloved franchise. Designed with input from Neil Druckmann and Megan Mehran, a graphic designer at Naughty Dog, the controller beautifully showcases elements that define the series.

The black gloss finish is decorated with iconic The Last of Us trophy symbols, including:

  • The Firefly emblem – A nod to the revolutionary group from The Last of Us Part I.
  • The Moth – A symbol closely associated with Ellie, representing her journey in Part II.
  • The Wolf – A reference to Abby’s connection to the Washington Liberation Front (WLF), further reinforcing the duality of Part II.

These subtle yet powerful design elements make this controller a must-have for both long-time fans and newcomers alike.

What About India’s Release?

Though Sony hasn’t confirmed an official launch date for India, the pattern of past special edition releases strongly suggests that it’s just a matter of time. If you’re eager to get your hands on this exclusive controller, keep an eye on IGN India for updates. With a rumored price tag of ₹7,490, it’s expected to be a hot seller among PlayStation fans.

More DualSense Releases in India

This isn’t the only special controller making its way to India. Sony has also launched the DualSense Edge Midnight Black wireless controller, priced at ₹18,990. This premium controller belongs to the Midnight Black Collection and even includes a matching Midnight Black carrying case—a sleek addition for serious gamers.

Final Thoughts – Should You Buy It?

If you’re a The Last of Us fan, this limited edition DualSense controller is practically a collector’s dream. With its intricate trophy-inspired design and strong connection to both games, it’s more than just a gaming accessory—it’s a piece of PlayStation history. Whether you’re in India or elsewhere, make sure to grab yours before they sell out!

Would you be picking one up, or are you holding out for another exclusive design? Let us know!
