Sony Pictures Animation’s family-friendly film GOAT has risen to the No. 1 position at the North American box office, earning an estimated $17 million during the weekend and outperforming competitor titles.
The animated sports comedy — featuring a small goat with big dreams — took the top spot in its second weekend of release, narrowly surpassing Warner Bros.’ Wuthering Heights, which earned around $14.2 million over the same period.
With its strong weekend performance, GOAT has now accumulated over $58 million domestically and more than $100 million worldwide, highlighting its appeal with families and positive word of mouth.
The film’s success marks another win for Sony’s animation lineup and underscores continued audience interest in original animated features early in the 2026 box office calendar.
