“Marvel Rivals: Ignite Drops Jaw-Dropping New Costumes—Fans Can’t Get Enough!”

Marvel Rivals has taken the gaming world by storm, captivating players with its action-packed PvP shooter experience. Now, Marvel and NetEase Games are expanding the universe even further with a brand-new comic, Marvel Rivals: Ignite. This one-shot special isn’t just another addition to the Marvel lineup—it’s a deep dive into the game’s lore, featuring brand-new costume designs by the legendary Peach Momoko, the artist behind Ultimate X-Men.

A Comic as Bold as the Game

To keep up with the anime-inspired aesthetic of Marvel Rivals, Marvel has assembled an all-star team of Japanese creators to bring Marvel Rivals: Ignite to life. This special issue tells three unique stories, each featuring a fan-favorite Marvel character facing off against an unexpected enemy:

  • Peach Momoko kicks things off with a showdown between Sai and the ever-chaotic Venom.
  • Yuji Kaku weaves a thrilling tale that pits The Punisher against Peni Parker.
  • Mitsuyasu Sakai and Ryusei Yamada deliver a K-pop-meets-goddess battle as Luna Snow takes on Hela.

What makes these stories even more special? The comic will be rendered in classic monochrome manga style but with a twist—each chapter will feature a signature third color that enhances the storytelling and adds a unique visual punch.

A New Look for Marvel’s Finest

One of the biggest highlights of Marvel Rivals: Ignite is the reveal of fresh, never-before-seen character costume designs. Peach Momoko’s artistic touch brings a reimagined look to some of the game’s most iconic heroes, blending traditional Marvel elements with a distinct manga influence. Fans who’ve already fallen in love with the game’s fast-paced action now have even more reason to get excited.

Following in the Footsteps of a Hit Series

This isn’t Marvel’s first foray into gaming-related comics. Previously, the Marvel Infinity miniseries was released as an online-exclusive before its popularity led to a physical print edition. That digital series even included a special Jeff the Land Shark “Unlimited Appetite” spray for subscribers.

However, Marvel Rivals: Ignite is purely for the fans—no exclusive perks this time, just an immersive experience that expands the game’s universe and offers a closer look at some of its most intriguing characters.

What’s Next for Marvel Rivals?

If this one-shot follows in the footsteps of Marvel Infinity, it could pave the way for more gaming-inspired Marvel comics. Given the popularity of Marvel Rivals, it’s not far-fetched to imagine future issues exploring even more heroes, villains, and in-game narratives.

For now, fans can dive into Marvel Rivals: Ignite and enjoy a fresh take on their favorite characters. Whether you’re in it for the action-packed stories, the stunning artwork, or the all-new costume reveals, one thing is certain—Marvel Rivals just got even more exciting!
