Renowned creator Marc Brown is set to debut his latest animated children’s series, “Hop,” on April 4th, exclusively on Max in the United States. Developed in collaboration with co-creators Peter K. Hirsch and Tolon Brown, both of whom are alumni of the acclaimed series “Arthur,” the show promises to bring Brown’s beloved children’s book illustrations to life. Produced by Epic Story Media and animated by Loomi Animation, “Hop” is poised to deliver twenty-six episodes throughout the year.

Expressing his enthusiasm for the upcoming premiere, Marc Brown shared his excitement, emphasizing the show’s commitment to fostering understanding and kindness among its young viewers. He stated, “I believe we’ve created a safe, inviting show that will challenge our viewers to understand and appreciate people who are not like them, and to encourage children to act with tolerance and kindness.”

Ken Faier, founder of Epic Story Media, praised the collaborative effort, highlighting the inclusive storytelling and diverse creative team behind “Hop.” Faier expressed pride in assembling an authentic cast and bringing together a team dedicated to crafting meaningful content for children.

Set in the enchanting community of Fair Village, “Hop” follows the adventures of an eclectic group of friends, led by the enthusiastic and empathetic frog, Hop. Each episode addresses relatable challenges with humor and whimsy, all while promoting important life lessons and embracing diversity.

Notably, the premiere of “Hop” marks a significant milestone in inclusive children’s entertainment, as the entire ensemble cast includes characters with various disabilities, aiming to help children better understand and relate to others. The series consulted with RespectAbility, a respected advocacy nonprofit organization, to ensure authentic representation of disabilities.

With its captivating animation, endearing characters, and meaningful storytelling, “Hop” is poised to become a cherished favorite among audiences of all ages. The show’s blend of humor, heart, and inclusivity promises to captivate viewers with delightful journeys filled with friendship, valuable life lessons, and endless possibilities.
