The eagerly awaited political drama “Razakar,” slated for release on March 1, has hit a slight snag as its launch has been rescheduled to March 15. The film’s production team recently disclosed that the delay stems from necessary VFX work that requires additional time to perfect.

This announcement, made by the film’s producers, has sparked curiosity among cinephiles eagerly anticipating the historical narrative’s unveiling. “Razakar” aims to delve into the intricacies of the Hyderabad Liberation Movement of 1948, shedding light on the struggles faced by the people of Andhra Pradesh in their quest to reclaim their religious and cultural identity amidst political and military adversity.

Helmed by Yata Satyanarayana, who marked his directorial debut six years ago with the acclaimed film “Swarna Khadgam” in 2018, “Razakar” boasts a stellar ensemble cast including Vedhika, Anasuya, Raj Arjun, Bobby Simha, and Makarand Deshpande.

Produced under the banner of Samarveer Creations by Gudur Narayan Reddy, “Razakar” promises to be a multilingual cinematic experience, with releases scheduled in Hindi, Marathi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada, in addition to Telugu.

The film’s narrative endeavors to chronicle the often-overlooked chapters of history, portraying the resilience and determination of individuals amidst tumultuous times. With its diverse linguistic release strategy, “Razakar” aims to resonate with audiences across various regions, bridging historical narratives with contemporary storytelling.

Despite the brief setback, the anticipation surrounding “Razakar” continues to mount, with audiences eagerly awaiting its eventual release on March 15, eager to witness the untold story of a pivotal moment in India’s history.
