Reports suggest that the second season, a crucial bridge between the initial season and the storyline of Rogue One, was nearing completion with only weeks left in production before the onset of the notorious SAG-AFTRA strike. The reason behind the series’ postponement remains unclear, adding to the mystery surrounding its delay.
Andor delves into Cassian Andor’s early endeavors in the rebellion against the Empire, exploring how individuals and planets joined this cause. Set in a perilous and deceitful era, the series follows Cassian’s transformation into a pivotal rebel figure.
Diego Luna reprises his role as Cassian Andor, alongside Genevieve O’Reilly, Stellan Skarsgård, Adria Arjona, Denise Gough, Kyle Soller, and Fiona Shaw. Executive producers Kathleen Kennedy, Sanne Wohlenberg, Luna, and Michelle Rejwan, led by creator and showrunner Tony Gilroy, helm the series.
