Krafton India, the creators of the hit battle-royale game Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI), have announced an exciting new partnership with global cinema icon Deepika Padukone. As part of this collaboration, she will serve as the brand ambassador for BGMI for the next year and will soon be featured as a playable character within the game.

Players can anticipate two unique character skins inspired by Padukone’s distinctive style and persona, marking a significant move in Krafton India’s mission to provide immersive, localized gaming experiences for Indian audiences.

“We are thrilled to collaborate with Deepika Padukone, a global icon, to deliver unforgettable experiences for our players,” said Sean Hyunil Sohn, CEO of Krafton India. “This partnership aims to push creative boundaries and offer fresh, engaging content for BGMI fans. Deepika Padukone expressed her excitement about the partnership, stating, “It’s an incredible opportunity to join the BGMI family. This collaboration follows Krafton’s successful partnerships with other notable Indian figures like Ranveer Singh, Hardik Pandya, and the Mumbai Indians cricket team. By integrating prominent personalities into the game, Krafton continues to redefine the gaming landscape in India, positioning BGMI as a cultural icon.

With each new partnership and game update, Krafton demonstrates its commitment to delivering innovative, tailored experiences for Indian gamers. The partnership with Deepika Padukone further solidifies BGMI’s appeal and sets the stage for more localized content.
