In a strategic move to fortify its creative prowess, Daydreamer proudly announces the appointment of Matt Fuller as their new Creative Director. Hailing from The Mill LA with an impressive 13-year tenure in the VFX domain, Matt brings a wealth of experience and innovation to his new role.

Commencing his career at The Mill London in 2012, Matt’s journey led him to Los Angeles in 2017, where he honed his skills further before returning to London. His expertise will now be channeled into overseeing Daydreamer’s burgeoning CG department, signaling a pivotal moment in the studio’s trajectory.

Throughout his career, Matt has collaborated with esteemed directors including Wayne McClammy, Tom Hooper, Henry Hobson, and Rubberband, imprinting his mark on a multitude of high-profile projects. Notable among these are campaigns for global brands such as Amazon, Pepsi, Nike, and EA Games, showcasing his versatility and creative vision.

Undoubtedly, one of Matt’s crowning achievements is his instrumental role in shaping the VFX landscape behind Walmart’s acclaimed ‘Famous Visitors’ campaign, earning him the prestigious VES award. His accolades extend across esteemed platforms such as D&AD, Cannes Lion, Ciclope, and British Arrows Craft awards, underscoring his dedication to excellence.

Expressing his enthusiasm for the new role, Matt states, “I’m thrilled to be joining such an incredible group of people and friends at Daydreamer. Having the opportunity to join the journey of pushing this creative studio to the next level is very exciting.”

Founder of Daydreamer, Pete Rypstra, echoes this sentiment, remarking, “We’re over the moon to start this next exciting phase of Daydreamer’s growth. Matt is hugely respected, an incredible creative force, and the perfect person to help grow our CG capabilities. He’s a wonderful addition to an amazing team!”

With Matt’s leadership at the helm, Daydreamer anticipates a dynamic expansion in their creative repertoire, poised to set new benchmarks in the industry.
