The Catchy Comedy Network is set to bring animated joy to viewers nationwide with a weekend marathon featuring the beloved classic Looney Tunes cartoons. Dubbed “The Catchy Binge: The Best of Looney Tunes,” this special event promises a nostalgic journey through 234 back-to-back shorts, airing from Saturday, April 20 at 3 p.m.

Marking a significant milestone for Catchy Comedy, this marathon represents the network’s inaugural binge event dedicated solely to celebrating the world of animation and showcasing timeless cartoon classics.

Viewers can expect to indulge in an array of iconic cartoons from the extensive Looney Tunes library. The lineup includes a specially curated selection of Bugs Bunny’s greatest shorts, spanning from the groundbreaking “What’s Opera, Doc?” (1957, directed by Chuck Jones) — the first fully-animated short to be selected for the National Film Registry — to classics like “Rabbit Seasoning” (1952, directed by Jones), and many more.

Accompanying Bugs Bunny on this animated adventure are shorts featuring other beloved Looney Tunes characters such as Daffy Duck, Porky Pig, Road Runner, Coyote, Tweety, Sylvester, and more.

The Catchy Comedy Network, which made its debut in March 2023, has quickly become a go-to destination for classic television comedy enthusiasts. The network’s programming lineup caters to a diverse audience, with weekdays featuring female-driven series celebrating the influential women of TV comedy, including legends like Lucille Ball, Mary Tyler Moore, and Carol Burnett.

Norman Lear favorites take center stage during weeknights with “Norman Lear’s Catchy Classics,” featuring iconic shows like “Good Times,” “Sanford and Son,” and “All in the Family.” Late-night programming Monday through Friday is dedicated to “Smart and Catchy Sitcoms,” offering a lineup that includes timeless gems like “Night Court,” “The Dick Van Dyke Show,” “Cheers,” “Taxi,” “The Bob Newhart Show,” and “Newhart.”

On weekends, The Catchy Binge invites viewers to indulge in marathon sessions of their favorite sitcoms and classic comedies, with each weekend featuring a different series.
