“Rare ‘Snow White’ Posters Hit the Auction Block—Own a Piece of Disney History!”

Disney fans and movie memorabilia collectors, get ready for a magical opportunity! Propstore, the world-renowned auction house, has unveiled an extraordinary collection of rare and original posters from Walt Disney’s iconic 1937 animated classic, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.

A Timeless Treasure Trove for Collectors

This exclusive online auction will run from March 7 – March 8, 2025, just in time to celebrate the beloved fairy tale ahead of Disney’s highly anticipated live-action reimagining, set to hit theaters the same month. Featuring some of the rarest promotional artwork from Snow White’s original release, this auction is a once-in-a-lifetime event for animation history buffs.

A Glimpse at the Most Coveted Pieces

The collection showcases stunning and historically significant posters, including:

  • Half-sheet “Style A” poster – One of the most sought-after designs from the film’s original release, this 22” x 28” poster by legendary illustrator Gustaf Tenggren is a masterpiece. Tenggren, celebrated for his fairy-tale-inspired work on Snow White and Pinocchio, created a visually enchanting piece that captures the spirit of Disney’s first animated feature. Estimated value: $4,000–$8,000.
  • 14” x 36” Insert Poster – Another original release gem by Gustaf Tenggren, this beautifully preserved folded insert poster is highly collectible. Estimated value: $4,000–$8,000.

“These posters are more than just advertising materials; they’re time capsules that transport us back to the golden age of animation and the birth of feature-length animated storytelling,” said Grey Smith, Propstore’s U.S. Poster Director.

Live Bidding and Event Details

The Snow White posters are just part of a massive collection of over 900 rare posters, expected to fetch a staggering $1.5 million in total. The auction will feature live online bidding on March 7, with continued online bidding on March 8 for collectors worldwide.

Why This Auction Is a Must-Watch

With Disney’s live-action Snow White premiering in March 2025, directed by Marc Webb and starring Rachel Zegler as Snow White and Gal Gadot as the Evil Queen, nostalgia for the original classic is at an all-time high. This auction presents a unique chance to own a tangible piece of Disney history before Snow White once again takes center stage.

Whether you’re a hardcore Disney fan, a movie memorabilia collector, or just someone who loves the magic of classic animation, this is your chance to own a piece of cinematic history. Will you be the lucky bidder who takes home one of these legendary posters?

Stay tuned, and may the fairest bidder of them all win!
