Blue Zoo Animation Studios’ popular educational series Numberblocks is returning with an exciting new season, dedicated to making multiplication both fun and engaging for young viewers. The BAFTA-winning series, beloved by teachers, parents, and carers alike, continues to follow its lively group of numbers as they collaborate to solve various challenges.

Building on the success of previous seasons, Numberblocks introduces a vibrant new cast: The Times Tables, featuring numbers up to 10. The new season promises catchy songs and fresh stories, with a special focus on the Six, Seven, Eight, and Nine Times Tables, designed to help children grasp multiplication concepts with ease.

The creative minds behind Numberblocks have gone the extra mile to simplify some of the traditionally tricky multiplication facts. For instance, the new character Fifty-Four is designed to emphasize the commutative property of multiplication. As a fan of games, particularly 3×3 grid games (thanks to his six Nines), Fifty-Four helps make learning these facts effortless. Who’s ready for a game of noughts and crosses with this fun-loving number?

In addition to the new season, the Numberblocks World educational app is receiving a refresh, complete with a brand new look. Children can now choose their Numberblocks avatars to explore Numberland, accompanied by a host of times table games to enhance their learning experience.

The new season of Numberblocks premieres on CBeebies and BBC iPlayer on August 19.

Blue Zoo Animation Studios, a B Corp certified company, has been creating acclaimed animations for 25 years.
