In a move poised to ignite a new era of innovation, California-based visual effects and color studio, Jamm, has proudly announced the appointment of Alvin Cruz as their newest Creative Lead. With an illustrious background in visual effects and a reputation for pushing creative boundaries, Cruz is set to chart new territories at the studio.

Cruz brings with him a wealth of experience garnered from his extensive tenure at various studios, where he collaborated with esteemed directors including Fredrik Bond, Georgia Hudson, Peter Thwaites, Doug Liman, and Daniels. Notably, his role as VFX Supervisor on the film “Swiss Army Man” with Daniels showcased his prowess in the field. At Jamm, Cruz will assume a pivotal role in driving the creative vision across the studio’s diverse client roster.

Jake Montgomery, co-owner of Jamm Visual, expressed enthusiasm about Cruz’s appointment, stating, “We are excited about the fresh perspectives and dynamic energy he brings to our creative processes.” Montgomery further emphasized the anticipation for groundbreaking projects, collaborative ventures, and unparalleled creativity under Cruz’s leadership.

Hailing originally from Spain, Cruz’s passion for visual storytelling transcends geographical boundaries. After honing his craft in London and New York, he now seeks to infuse the sun-kissed shores of the West Coast with his creative prowess, embracing the opportunity to illuminate all projects at Jamm with his unique perspective.

The addition of Alvin Cruz to the Jamm team signifies a strategic move towards fostering innovation and excellence in visual effects, promising an exciting chapter in the studio’s creative journey.
