Amazon Games Montreal—a team made up of talent from Rainbow Six Siege—has announced its debut title, March of Giants, a free-to-play 4v4 War MOBA for PC released through Steam.
Set in a steampunk-infused early 20th century, the game places players in control of colossal Giants, each wielding unique abilities as strategic commanders. Alongside personal prowess, players can lead thousands of soldiers and deploy dynamic structures termed Battleworks—such as trenches, tanks, and bunkers—to shape the battlefield in a novel fusion of MOBA and RTS dynamics.
The Closed Alpha period runs from September 2 to September 10, 2025, open to players in the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Participants will have access to 10 of the 15 Giants from the start, with the remaining five unlocking during gameplay progression. Those interested can request access via the game’s Steam page—subject to an NDA.
Creative Director Xavier Marquis shared,
“March of Giants represents our vision to bring the epic scale of war to the MOBA genre.“
Vice President Christoph Hartmann added that the studio’s experience with competitive games uniquely positions them to reshape traditional MOBA landscapes.
