Boat Rocker Studios, the Canadian entertainment powerhouse, has taken its longstanding collaboration with Industrial Brothers to the next level by acquiring a majority stake in the acclaimed kids’ animation studio. Previously a minority investor, Boat Rocker has now deepened its financial commitment and renewed their first-look co-production deal. This elevates their creative and strategic partnership to align with global ambitions.

Continued Leadership & Governance

  • Matthew Fernandes, co-founder and Chief Creative Officer of Industrial Brothers, will continue guiding the studio’s artistic vision.
  • Tammy Semen, Chief Operating Officer, remains in charge of production and operations.
  • Boat Rocker founders David Fortier and Ivan Schneeberg, along with Fernandes, will sit on the company’s board, collaborating closely with Boat Rocker’s Jon Rutherford, President of Global Rights, Franchise & Content Strategy, to align content and franchise plans.
