At AnimeJapan 2025 in Tokyo, Toho Co., Ltd. dropped a thrilling new teaser trailer and key visual, building anticipation for the eighth and final season of this global anime sensation.

When and Where to Watch?

Mark your calendars! My Hero Academia FINAL SEASON is set to premiere in October 2025 and will stream worldwide (excluding Asia) on Crunchyroll. Fans can expect new episodes every week, airing the same day as Japan.

The Dream Team Behind the Final Season

The final installment of My Hero Academia is in expert hands, with Naomi Nakayama returning as director after leading Season 7 in 2024. The series composition is written by Yosuke Kuroda (Trigun), a veteran who has been with the anime since its inception.

The animation is once again produced by Bones Film, the powerhouse studio behind hits like Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Mob Psycho 100, and Bungo Stray Dogs.

With epic battles, emotional moments, and high-stakes drama, this final season promises to deliver an unforgettable conclusion to the beloved series.

The long-awaited showdown between Deku and Shigaraki is expected to be the most intense battle in the anime’s history, as the fight for justice and destruction comes to a head. Who will emerge victorious?
